THE UNSEEN MIRACLE

Ms. Dianca Frank is an entrepreneur and a career driven young woman. With a heart of gratitude to God, she humbly shared her pregnancy testimony on how the Lord spared her life and her Beautiful Daughter's Zenobia life from death.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". Jeremiah 29:11

Dianca plans for her life wasn’t what the Lord had planned out for her, but as she journeyed through life many of the Lord’s plans began to manifest before her eyes. Later, she realized that her plans were nothing compared to what he has in mind for her life. While her younger self said “I maybe a mom by age 24”, the Lord plan in mind was really age 30. The older she became the higher risk of giving birth would be possible, she thought. She began taking the necessary steps to prepare herself for child baring, despite many OBGYN advice that she may not be able to carry a child successfully. She sat down with Plan parenthood OBGYN, and did different test to ensure that she was ready; one test results showed that she has more male hormones than female hormones. Despite the doctor’s reports, she was declaring that the Lord is able to do the impossible. In July 2017, after doing a pregnancy test, Dianca discovered that she was six weeks pregnant. During this time, she was faced with different life challenges, such as depression due to a failing relationship. At the same time, she was advice to keep her circle clean so that she can enjoy a stress-free “pregnancy journey”.

“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Dianca went for an ultrasound at the 21st week of pregnancy, which revealed that the baby was not in the appropriate position. During this time her doctor ordered bed rest; which allowed her not to work for the duration of the pregnancy. She was also informed that the physician who performed a biopsy on her, had cut her cervix, which means that she wouldn’t be able to carry a baby. Additionally, she experienced a series of complications; such as, loss of strength; weight loss; and she was at a high risk of losing the baby as well as her own life. Thereafter, her water bag was ruptured, which means that she was losing the fluid that would help carry the baby. She recalled going to the hospital where the nurses were able to medicate her and rebuild the water she lost; she was encouraged her to keep an eye out for contractions. Six days later, she returned to the hospital because she was having contractions; and she received medication to stop the contractions. She spent 4 days in the hospital which led up to her giving birth on December 3rd, 2017 to a beautiful baby girl.

Zenobia was in the hospital (NICU) from December 3rd 2017 to February 18 2018. During those months Dianca was living in frustration; she would often listen to Anthony Brown’s “Trust in You” song, whenever she felt overwhelmed. While listening to the song, she prayed and asked the Lord to save Zen’s life: “I told God I was sorry for all the foolish things I asked for in the past; and for being disappointed when I discovered the gender of the baby (girl) instead of a baby (boy). I just wanted a healthy baby”. Dianca blamed herself for a lot of things as she visited Zen in the hospital day after day. On many occasions, she replayed all the decisions she made and thoughts she had before she was known as a high-risk mom. I kept saying father I know you will not give me more than I can take so I know that I can handle this.

Zenobia was 4lbs when she was released from the hospital. She came home with an apnea monitor which monitored her breathing & her heartbeat. Should her heart stopped beating, the device would send an alarm to anyone who taking care of her during that time. Dianca was trained by hospital technician on how to operate the apnea monitor should Zenobia stop breathing/or if her heart stopped beating. It wasn’t as easy as she thought; nonetheless, she boldly and confidently handle each Episode peacefully. While everyone around her became anxious; Dianca would boldly preform the techniques she was taught on Zenobia. The machine went off sporadically both while the child was asleep and awake. Whenever the heart symbol (heart stopped) went off on the machine; Dianca rarely showed her emotional side; instead she prayed silently while performing the techniques on Zenobia. After 3 months of using the machine, the doctor felt it was time to take Zenobia off the machine. Although, Dianca was a bit fearful; she was extremely hopeful and prayerful that things will get better as time progressed.

“O Lord my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me”. Psalm 30:2 NKJV

Multiple doctors’ visits were scheduled and completed to ensure that Zenobia’s vital organs are in good health. During each doctor’s visits, Dianca spent time praying that she would receive news that her daughter is doing 100%. She said “after each doctors’ visit, I was told WOW everything looks healthy and normal. I have GREAT NEWS: she is progressing beautiful; her heart is stronger; her lungs is doing great; and her eyes are good”. With tears in her eyes Dianca mentioned; “it was one great result after another; my baby girl is now a healthy and full of energy. It’s only the hands of God that kept Zenobia alive, and healing is comes from the Lord God Almighty”. This was indeed a miracle and the handy work of God.

Dianca expressed her gratitude to God for blessing her with a beautiful daughter. She celebrated Zenobia’s 2nd birthday on December 3rd, 2019. Zen is indeed a beautiful, happy, healthy, strong & fully energized child. Dianca is certainly a proud mother of her daughter whom she had the opportunity to see fight for life. Dianca said: “her toughness gave me life and helped me to stay strong through the difficult times. Zenobia is my hero and my biggest accomplishment in life, all glory be to God”. The Lord heard Dianca’s cry and indeed healed her and her daughter.
